Tweed Overcoat leaving with its New Owner

12th Mar 2026 by Elliott R&F

Sam popped by a few weeks back to collect his new tweed overcoat and what a cracker it is.

Made from a heavy weight Lovat mill tweed, this coat will last a last time, it properly looked after.

Sam owns the fantastic pub called The Merry Harriers located in the picturesque village of Hambledon, its origins dating back to the 16th century. Our traditional, welcoming village inn is steeped in history, with old oak beams that stretch across the bar and restaurant dining areas, a roaring fireplace heats the bar area with a hearty crackle and snap of the seasoned logs. Taken over in 2023 by the team behind Hilltop Kitchen, the daily changing menu is based on what comes of our own farm and inspired by great British classics.

We’ve been lucy enough to have had lunch there and can confirm the food was fantastic, but back to the overcoat, single breasted button 3 front with side pockets, simple but timeless.
